Background

I have more than ten years’ experience in teaching and assessing people with specific learning difficulties. I have worked with individuals of all ages from primary school children to adults who left full-time education many years previously.

I am a qualified specialist teacher holding an approved qualification – OCR Level 7 Certificate in Assessing and Teaching Learners with Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia).  I also hold a current Practising Certificate issued by the Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS).  I am committed to continuing professional education.

I have worked with a wide range of schools, colleges, universities and employers to ensure that there is a better understanding of the difficulties people experience. For example, I have worked with institutions such as Brunel University, Imperial College London, Harrow School, Hatch End High School, Orley Farm School, Network Rail and Centrepoint.
